I practice from a relational, trauma-informed, and integrative perspective, weaving together insights from both Western psychology and Eastern healing traditions.

Alongside evidence-based approaches — including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Attachment-Based Family Therapy (ABFT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), and Narrative Therapy — I integrate mindfulness, movement, and yoga-informed practices when appropriate.

As a certified yoga teacher, I see the body as a vital part of the healing process, a vessel of wisdom, resilience, and intuition. Incorporating mindful movement, grounding, and breath-work can help bridge the gap between mind and body, allowing deeper integration and release.

I also work through a liberation psychology lens, acknowledging how culture, identity, and systemic forces influence our well-being. Healing is both personal and collective, it includes reclaiming agency, voice, and belonging.

These three words; connection, culture, and compassion are the heart of my work and the foundation of Embody Therapy & Wellness.

Healing is not only personal— it’s shaped by the cultural, social, and relational worlds we move through.

01 — CONNECTION

Connection reminds us that healing happens in relationship — with ourselves, with others, and with the world we move through. It is built through presence, attunement, and feeling seen and understood over time.

02 — CULTURE

Culture grounds us in identity, belonging, and the stories we inherit and carry. It invites us to honor where we come from, how our histories live in the body, and how these roots shape our healing.

03 — COMPASSION

Compassion invites a gentle, non-judgmental way of being with ourselves and our experiences. It creates space for curiosity instead of criticism, allowing healing to unfold without force or urgency.

Creativity is an essential part of my philosophy. I believe creativity is one of the purest expressions of healing, it helps us make meaning, imagine new possibilities, and reconnect with joy. Whether through art, movement, storytelling, or simply curiosity, creativity invites playfulness and renewal into the process of becoming whole.

Community is where all of these elements come alive. We don’t heal in isolation; we heal in connection. My hope is that the work we do together ripples outward into your relationships, your family, and your community. I support children, teens, adults, and couples navigating life’s challenges, including trauma, anxiety, identity exploration, relationship issues, and major transitions.
